The Trustees of Glamis Hall are delighted to announce that we have been awarded funding by the Borough Council of Wellingborough. This funding is spread over two years and will enable us to:
- subsidise room hire to two youth groups, for 3 hours a week each during term time.
- hold joint events such as quizzes and bingo to help raise funds for both groups
- organise a Family Festival in July 2016 and 2017
- hire farm and/or other animals for local children to pet and donkeys for them to ride
- free entry, free activities
- subsidise food and drink
- provide various activities for local children in the school holidays such as theatre workshops, Zumba, crafts and sports
- start a youth football team, purchase kit and equipment
- train Glamis Hall staff to provide individual advice to Day Centre clients on wellbeing, keeping warm at home etc.
- purchase a board to hold leaflets for various local services which will be located in reception
